What counts for volunteering hours?
Your volunteer hours must be submitted for time during which you participated in service to the community which was uncompensated.
What counts for Community Events?
These are specific events which the NHS officer council has identified to encourage the NHS membership to participate in, in a group capacity. They will be communicated to you and posted on the NHS website.
What counts for tutoring?
You must tutor a student at Pioneer, under the observation of a Pioneer staff member. The student must be a Pioneer student, and not in the NHS.
What's the deal with these forms?
To get credit for volunteering, Community Events, or tutoring, you must turn in an NHS volunteer form, correctly filled out.
What if it's an ongoing activity?
If you're doing the same thing on a weekly basis or such, turn in your form within two weeks of the last date of the activity.
